COMPANY EVOLUTION

The Company has evolved from a small workshop to a large company with state of art manufacturing capabilities over the last 5 decades as stated hereunder :

1948 : Establishment of business by Mr. Jashbhai Patel in the town of Dewas located 30 kms from Indore. Initial products were machine tools like lathe drilling and slotting machines.

1954 : Shifting of plant to the city of Indore.

1955 : Commenced manufacturing of water control gates.

1956 : Commenced manufacturing of precision surface equipment in year.

1958 : Commenced manufacturing of bed plate / T-slotted plates in two with a view.

1962 : Entry of second generation of family in business

1964-1972 : Consolidation to become leading manufacture in all the product groups.

1972 : Formation of Jash Engineering Pvt. Ltd. as a separate company located at Sanwer road industrial area with a view to focus on water control gates business & bed plates business.

1972-1988 : Expansion in facilities & consolidation to become No.1 manufacturer in India in water control gates business with over 70% market share and in Bed plate business with over 80% market share.

1988 : Entry of third generation of family in business.

1996 : Converted into closely held Public Limited company under name Jash Engineering Ltd. Entered into Technical & Financial Collaboration with Schuette group, Germany. 20% equity give to Mr. Axel Schuette.

1997- 1999 : Expansion of facilities and addition of new line of bulk solids handling valves in product range.

2000 : Entered into Technical Collaboration with Hollung AS, Norway for manufacture of Fine Step Screens. First company to introduce fine screening in India.

2002 : Entered into Technical Collaboration with Hollung AS, Norway for manufacture of Coarse bar screens.


2005 : Expansion in manufacturing facilities for screens. Became largest manufacturer of Fine screen in India.

2006 : Establishment of new facility to manufacture bulk solids handling valves.

2007 : Establishment of new facility for manufacture of Fabricated products and entered into agreement with Asia Environment, Singapore to offer Drum Screen in Indian market.

2008 : Entered into agreement with Perrier Sorem to offer varied screening solutions for water and waste water market in India. Also entered into Technical Collaboration with Weco Armaturen , Germany to offer its range of valves in Indian market.
