23rd to 25th June 2009 : Jash at Singapore International Water Week & Expo
The Liquid products group had independently participated in the last
Singapore Water Expo held at Suntec City, Singapore in June 2008. In the
Expo to be held this year Jash will be jointly participating with W.B
Engineering & Consultancy PTE. LTD. at their stall number P-19.

May 2009 : New JASH plant at Special Export Zone at Pithampur located 30 Kms from
Indore
The company is investing in a modern assembly plant for Knife gate
valves for German and North American market. With this plant the company
plans to be in a position to produce over 20,000 valves per year from
2012. The civil construction for the plant is commencing in May and the
plant shall be commissioned in December 2009. The plant will be built in
two phases with the first phase involving construction of close to
50,000 square feet.
• 2009 – April 2009 : Jash achieves close to 35% growth in the financial year ending 31st
March
For the financial year starting 1st April 2008 and ending 31st March
2009 Jash has achieved a growth of nearly 40% to touch sales turnover of
Rs 48.5 crores ( approx USD 10 million ). In the current financial year
starting 1st April 2009 and ending on 31st march 2010 Jash expects to
maintain similar growth in its turnover and has set a target of
achieving sales turnover of approx USD 15 million.

April 2009 : Jash acquires “SURESEAL”
On 8th April 2009 Jash signed an agreement with Sureseal based in Mumbai
to take over its entire operations along with Brand rights and their
business expertise pertaining to Water hammer control devices namely
Zero velocity valves and Air Cushion valves. The transfer in operations
from Mumbai to Indore will be conducted over a period of 4 months and
thereafter Jash will be offering these products under Sureseal brand
from its plant at Indore.

April 2009 : Jash in Mumbai Storm Water Pumping stations projects
Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) is setting up Storm water
pumping stations under the consultancy of MWH to mitigate flooding in
the city during monsoon.
Pratibha Industries Ltd, Mumbai has received order from MCGM for Irla
pumping station for which they have placed order on Jash for 8 nos CI
sluice gates of 3000x2000 mm size and Suspended trash rake screen of
about 140 sq.m area. This pumping station is the fourth storm water
pumping station being built by MCGM. Unity Infrastructure, Mumbai is
building the other 3 nos Storm water pumping stations at Haji Ali,
Lovegrove and Cleveland. For these 3 pumping stations Jash has already
received an order worth over Rs 200 Million from Unity to supply 24 nos
Cast Iron sluice gates of 3500x2000 mm size and 3 nos Suspended Trash
Rake screens to clean area of 160 sq.m, 200 sq.m, 140 sq.m. This is the
first of such project in India and Jash is proud to be associated with
MCGM, MWH , Unity & Pratibha in execution of these prestigious and
important projects. The delivery of equipment for Haji Ali project has
commenced and the installation is expected to be done by June. |
