KNIFE GATE VALVE - VERSION ZFT

The ZFT version Knife gate valve is specially designed for isolation requirement in waste water treatment plants and pumping stations and for all those applications involving isolation of solid-liquid mixes. These are ideal for use in lieu of Sluice valves in applications involving solid – liquid mixes. These are ideal for vertical installation but can also be installed in inclined or horizontal position.

SALIENT FEATURES OF KNIFE GATE VALVE [ZFT VERSION]
 

•	A lug type wafer design of sleek construction for installation in small and congested areas.
•	Metal to metal sealing for low pressure tight shut off across the seat area.
•	Sealing achieved by means of integrally cast jams pushing the gate on to the seat for full-face contact between gate and seat.
•	Gate having beveled knife-edge at bottom to cut through solid particles settled at bottom of body and achieve full closure.
•	Double ply PTFE packing glands provided with externally adjustable pusher arrangement to tighten the packing on the gate and eliminate the leakage through the back of the valve.
•	Non rising spindle for compact operation and increased safety.
•	Gate opening indicating arrangement to find out the extent of gate opening / Closing.
•	Double start-threaded spindle provided for faster opening and closing.

SIZES & FLANGE HOLE DETAILS :

• Size: DN 50, 65, 80, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600.
• Mounting holes drilled to suit flanges as per DIN PN10 & ANSI 150# B16.5

MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION :

Depending on application and requirement, the client may select and specify the material of construction for various components from the alternatives provided herein.


SHOP TEST PARAMETERS :

• Body test: 4.5 bar or higher depending upon material and size.
• Seat test: As per MSS-SP-81.
