These gates are made as per JASH design.
|
| Application |
These gates are downward opening type gates and can be used either for:
- Decanting of a reservoir or a tank, or
- For maintaining precise level control in a reservoir or a tank, or
- To control the flow into or from a conduit as a sluice gate in locations where clearance
between the opening and the gate operating floor is inadequate to allow raising of gate to
raise to full opening.

Features |
- Designed for channel application, breast wall not required.
- Suitable for seating head application.
- Rising spindle Self Contained gate with lift mechanism mounted directly on gate frame.
- Complete continuous sealing on sides and bottom of gate aperture at any position of
shutter opening.
- Metal to rubber sealing arrangement on three sides.
- Manual lift mechanism to enable a single person to operate gate with effort < 20Kgs.
- Painting : 2 coats of redoxide primer with 2 coats of black bitumin paint.

Construction |
| Depending upon application and requirement, the
client should select and specify the Materials of Construction for
various components from offered alternatives.

| Shop Testing
Parameters |
- Seat clearance check for checking clearance between mating sealing faces.
- Movement test for checking interference free movement of complete assembly.
- Leakage test at atmospheric pressure if weir gate provided with sealing on all four
sides for application (iii) above.

- Electrically or Pneumatically operated lift mechanism with manual override
facility.
- Wall thimble mounting design.
- Gate opening indicating arrangement.
- Additional sealing on top side for flow control into or from a conduit for application
(iii).
- Lift mechanism mounted on platform away from gate frame.
- Epoxy primer and epoxy finish paint.
